Holistic Healing

Experienced therapist Marie has been working in the holistic health industry for over 20 years and has gained an extensive overview of how complementary therapies can help you to achieve optimum health and harmony. She has treated over 750 clients over the years and worked for many organisations, businesses and charities during that time.

Marie offers distant/remote healing sessions and a limited amount of in-person sessions from her therapy room in North Suffolk. Please visit the links below to explore the different options:

Marie has a strong sense of intuition and spiritual connection which filters through into her healing practice. She approaches her work with a calm, caring, non-pressured attitude making you feel comfortable and at ease and helping you to achieve a deep sense of relaxation.

Although you don't have to believe in complementary therapies for them to work, an open mind and willingness to relax and make any lifestyle changes needed can accelerate the healing process. Each one of us has an innate healing ability and holistic therapies can help us access that energy and put us in touch with our inner selves, re-energising and re-balancing all areas.

Holistic therapies must never be seen as miracle cures; they simply encourage the body to heal itself more effectively. Remember that your holistic practitioner is not a doctor and cannot prescribe, diagnose or claim to cure any medical condition. You may experience a decrease in stress levels and beneficial changes to your health and well-being as a result of the treatments. You may wish to obtain doctor’s consent before treatment if you have any unstable conditions.

We all want to feel more healthy and more positive so that we can enjoy life and get a sense of purpose and fulfilment from deep within. Holistic therapies have a different approach to traditional modern medicine. Instead of looking at individual symptoms and problems, the therapist views the person as a whole, seeing the true picture from a less limited perspective.

The body keeps reacting to the treatment for about 24 hours afterwards. Therefore, to obtain the greatest benefit, please try to avoid undue stress, excessive driving, exercise, alcohol or heavy meals after a treatment. It is best to drink plenty of water or herbal teas, to rest if possible and eat a light meal. You may feel tired or drowsy but this is a natural reaction and you should feel energised after a good night’s sleep. Other possible symptoms may include headaches, nausea, increased urination or bowel movements and perspiration but these should clear up within 24 hours. During the treatment of chronic conditions, occasionally a healing crisis may occur (experienced as a complete lack of energy and malaise). This arises if the body is getting rid of toxic energy too rapidly.

NOTE: Please give 24 hours notice for cancellations otherwise a fee of £10 will be charged.
